Comparison review
The Asus VivoTab RT has an overall score of 61, which is slightly better than the LG G Pad 8.0's 58.6 overall score. The Asus VivoTab RT works with Windows RT OS, while LG G Pad 8.0 counts with Android 5.0 OS. Asus VivoTab RT's design is heavier but somewhat thinner than the LG G Pad 8.0. LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a brighter display than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a bit worse 1280 x 800px resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a little greater pixel density.
The LG G Pad 8.0 has a little bit better hardware performance than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with an additional GPU. Asus VivoTab RT has a superior memory capacity for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory capacity.
Asus VivoTab RT has a way better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Asus VivoTab RT also has a back-facing camera with much more MP. LG G Pad 8.0 features a much better battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab RT.
Although Asus VivoTab RT is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G Pad 8.0. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.0, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
