HTC Flyer is a little bit better than LG G Pad 8.0, having a 58.7 score against 58.6. Despite being the best tablet in this review, the HTC Flyer construction is thicker and somewhat heavier than LG G Pad 8.0. Both devices in this comparison include Android OS (operating system), but HTC Flyer has the older 3.2 version and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0.
The LG G Pad 8.0 has a sharper display than HTC Flyer, because it has a bit bigger screen, a higher resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a just a little more pixels per inch of screen. The LG G Pad 8.0 features a little faster processing unit than HTC Flyer, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a faster graphics processor working at 450 MHz and 3 more cores.
The HTC Flyer counts with a greater memory to install applications and games than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. The HTC Flyer shoots much better photographs and videos than LG G Pad 8.0. They have the same video frame rates, the same resolution back camera and the same (HD) video quality.
LG G Pad 8.0 features just a bit longer battery duration than HTC Flyer, because it has a 4200mAh battery size.
Although HTC Flyer is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G Pad 8.0. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the HTC Flyer, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG G Pad 8.0, letting go some specs and features.
