The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) body is notably heavier but way thinner than the LG G Pad 8.0.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a better performing processing unit than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have 4 processing cores and a 450 megahertz graphics co-processor, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a greater amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a more vivid display than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a way greater display density, a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a larger display.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a slightly better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a way more mega pixels back-facing camera. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a much bigger memory to install applications and games than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy LG G Pad 8.0, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
