Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a little bit better than the LG G Pad 8.0, with a 62.7 score against 58.6. These tablets have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has an older 4.0 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's design is a little bit thinner but notably heavier than the LG G Pad 8.0.

The LG G Pad 8.0 features a brighter display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with more pixels per inch of display. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's processing unit is very similar to LG G Pad 8.0's processing unit, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a slower graphics processor working at 400 MHz and an inferior number of cores , they both have the same RAM amount.

LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a way bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds up to 64 GB, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has 8 GB more internal storage. LG G Pad 8.0 features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a back facing camera with way more megapixels.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 67 percent more battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G Pad 8.0. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy LG G Pad 8.0, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
