Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is just a bit better than the LG G Pad 8.0, getting a overall score of 61.4 against 58.6. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s construction is a bit thinner but incredibly heavier than LG G Pad 8.0. Both tablets in this review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has an older 4.1 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version.

The LG G Pad 8.0 features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with a greater pixel amount in each inch in the display. LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has an additional graphics co-processor and 2 more cpu cores.

LG G Pad 8.0 has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has 8 GB more internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a little bit better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, although it has a lot lower resolution back-facing camera and a lot worse video quality.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a really longer battery life than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 7000mAh battery size instead of 4200mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), but if you don't you can save some money and buy the LG G Pad 8.0, letting go some features and specs.
