The LG G Pad 8.0 has a global score of 58.6, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s 58.5 overall score. The LG G Pad 8.0 construction is just a bit lighter and a bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android OS, but the LG G Pad 8.0 has 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1, so it gives some extra features.

LG G Pad 8.0 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have 1 GB of RAM, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has an extra graphics processing unit and a higher number of cores. The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a just a little more pixels per display inch, a quite bigger display and a higher resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) captures just a bit better pictures and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, although it has a lot worse 1280x720 video quality and a camera with much less mega pixels resolution. The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has 16 GB internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB.

LG G Pad 8.0 features a little better battery life than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 5 percent greater battery size.

Although LG G Pad 8.0 is a better device, it costs a bit more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy LG G Pad 8.0, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), letting go a couple specifications.
