Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has an overall score of 61.7, which is a bit better than the LG G Pad 8.0's 58.6 overall score. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has the older 4.1 version and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a just a little bit heavier and a little thicker tablet device than the LG G Pad 8.0.

The LG G Pad 8.0 features a much better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a bit larger display, a higher 1280 x 800 resolution and a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen. The LG G Pad 8.0 features much more memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has 16 GB internal storage capacity.

The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a better graphics co-processor working at 450 MHz and a greater number of cores. The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a 4200mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a bit better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, although it has a much lower (HD) video resolution and a back facing camera with a much worse resolution.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE costs more money than LG G Pad 8.0, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
