Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a global score of 64.8, which is better than LG G Pad 8.0's score of 58.6. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the older 4.0.4 version and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a just a little lighter and way thinner tablet than the LG G Pad 8.0.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and LG G Pad 8.0 both feature incredibly similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a quite higher pixels quantity per inch of display. LG G Pad 8.0 has a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a higher number of cores (although slower) and a much better graphics processor working at 450 MHz.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has a SD card slot that supports 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The LG G Pad 8.0 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a back-facing camera with much more MP and a lot higher (Full HD) video quality.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has longer battery performance than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.7, otherwise you can save some money and get the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up a couple specifications.
