Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has an overall score of 58.8, which is a little bit better than the LG G Pad 8.0's score of 58.6. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has older 4.0 version and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE body is noticeably heavier but somewhat thinner than the LG G Pad 8.0.

The LG G Pad 8.0 features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800px, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with a little higher pixels amount in each inch of display. The LG G Pad 8.0 has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a graphics processor and 2 more cores.

The LG G Pad 8.0 captures clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a back-facing camera with a lot better 5 mega-pixels resolution and a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality. LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 64 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a very superior battery lifetime than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 45 percent greater battery size.
