Galaxy Tab is a little bit better than LG G Pad 8.0, having a score of 58.6 against 58.6. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab has 2.3.3 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version. Despite being the best in this review, Galaxy Tab is a thicker and somewhat heavier tablet than the LG G Pad 8.0.
LG G Pad 8.0 has a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher resolution of 1280 x 800, a quite larger display and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. LG G Pad 8.0 counts with slightly more storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab, although it has less internal memory.
LG G Pad 8.0 has a faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab, because it has 3 more processing cores, 512 MB more RAM memory and an extra graphics co-processor. LG G Pad 8.0 features just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has a 4200mAh battery size. The Samsung Galaxy Tab features a slightly better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, although it has a much lower video resolution and a back-facing camera with a much lower 3 MP resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab is a better device, it is more expensive than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G Pad 8.0. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.0, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
