Comparison review

LG G Pad 8.0 is slightly better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, with a overall score of 58.6 against 57.6. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G Pad 8.0 has the previous 5.0 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Even being the best portable tablet in our current comparison, the LG G Pad 8.0 is a way thicker and a little heavier portable tablet than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD.

The LG G Pad 8.0 features a little more vivid display than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, although it has a much worse pixels density and a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 800, they both have a same size screen. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with just a bit bigger memory for apps and games than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 128 GB.

The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a bit more powerful CPU than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more processing cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has greater battery life than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 21 percent larger battery capacity.

Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a lot better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a lot more megapixels camera in the back.

Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, the LG G Pad 8.0 is also by far the cheapest one, making buying this tablet an easy decision.
