LG G Pad 8.0 is slightly better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, with a overall score of 58.6 against 57.6. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a bit more powerful CPU than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more processing cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has greater battery life than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 21 percent larger battery capacity.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a lot better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a lot more megapixels camera in the back.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, the LG G Pad 8.0 is also by far the cheapest one, making buying this tablet an easy decision.
