Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a general score of 68.3, which is just a bit better than the LG G Pad F2 8.0's 62.7 general score. Even though Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is newer than the LG G Pad F2 8.0, it's a little bit heavier and thicker. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has 8.1 Oreo version while LG G Pad F2 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat version, counting with lots of additional features and some performance improvements.

The LG G Pad F2 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) both have really similar displays, both of them have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, a screen of the same size and a greater pixel count per inch of display. The LG G Pad F2 8.0 features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the LG G Pad F2 8.0 also has more processing cores.

LG G Pad F2 8.0 features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a way better battery duration than LG G Pad F2 8.0, because it has a 67 percent greater battery capacity.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) shoots much better photographs and videos than LG G Pad F2 8.0. Both of them have the same video frame rates, a back facing camera with a 5 megapixels resolution and the same 1920x1080 video definition.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is way more expensive than the LG G Pad F2 8.0, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
