Comparison review

LG G Pad X 8.0 is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), with a general score of 63.5 against 61.4. LG G Pad X 8.0 is a noticeably newer tablet, and it's also much lighter and somewhat thinner than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both of these tablets use Android OS, but the LG G Pad X 8.0 has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1 version, so it provides you some additional features.

LG G Pad X 8.0 features a better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a much greater pixel density and a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution. LG G Pad X 8.0 has a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has more internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB.

LG G Pad X 8.0 features a superior processor than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a slightly better camera than LG G Pad X 8.0, although it has a much worse (HD) video resolution and a much less mega-pixels back camera.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a much longer battery lifetime than LG G Pad X 8.0, because it has a 51 percent larger battery size.
