The LG G Pad X 8.0 has a general score of 63.5, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's 60.8 overall score. LG G Pad X 8.0's design is incredibly newer, somewhat lighter and extremely thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. These tablets use Android OS, but LG G Pad X 8.0 has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has Android 4.1.2 version, counting with a couple additional features.

The LG G Pad X 8.0 features a faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a larger number of faster cores and more RAM. The LG G Pad X 8.0 has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920, a way better number of pixels per screen inch and a bit bigger screen.

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a quite bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad X 8.0, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The LG G Pad X 8.0 captures a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 video resolution and a lot more megapixels camera in the back.
