The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a general score of 75.8, which is much better than LG G Pad X 8.3's 63.8 score. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has an older 4.4.2 version while LG G Pad X 8.3 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is an older and extremely heavier tablet device than LG G Pad X 8.3, but Samsung could make it a little thinner anyway.
