Comparison review

LG G Pad X 8.3 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, getting a 63.8 score against 58.8. LG G Pad X 8.3 is a lighter tablet device than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, but they have the same thickness. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G Pad X 8.3 has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a screen that is very similar to the LG G Pad X 8.3 one, because although the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a way worse display pixel density and a much lower 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little larger display. The LG G Pad X 8.3 counts with a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 128 GB.

LG G Pad X 8.3 has a bit better processor than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has more 1.5 GHz CPU cores. LG G Pad X 8.3 captures much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a much higher 8 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a lot better (Full HD) video definition.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with superior battery lifetime than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has a 6100mAh battery size against 4800mAh.
