Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has an overall score of 68.3, which is slightly better than LG G Pad X 8.3's 63.8 global score. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and LG G Pad X 8.3 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it gives you some nice extra features. LG G Pad X 8.3 has just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a 2 GB RAM, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has 4 more cpu cores. The LG G Pad X 8.3 has a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a higher screen pixel density, a way better resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a quite bigger display.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) takes just a bit better pictures and videos than LG G Pad X 8.3, although it has a lower (Full HD) video quality and a back camera with lot less MP resolution. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 400 GB and 32 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has just a bit better battery performance than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
