Barnes & Noble Nook HD is a little bit better than Maxwest ORBIT 78DC, with a overall score of 41 against 38.7. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but Barnes & Noble Nook HD has an older 4.0 version and Maxwest ORBIT 78DC has Android 4.1 version. Barnes & Noble Nook HD features a much more vibrant screen than Maxwest ORBIT 78DC, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also has a way better 900 x 1440px resolution and a much better display pixel density.

Barnes & Noble Nook HD has a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Maxwest ORBIT 78DC, and although they both have equal 8 GB internal memory capacity, the Barnes & Noble Nook HD also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB. The Barnes & Noble Nook HD and Maxwest ORBIT 78DC both have really similar processors, and although the Barnes & Noble Nook HD has an extra graphics processing unit, they both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.

Barnes & Noble Nook HD counts with a camera that's just as good as the Maxwest ORBIT 78DC one. The Barnes & Noble Nook HD's battery duration is very similar to the battery lifetime in Maxwest ORBIT 78DC.

Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, Barnes & Noble Nook HD is also by far the cheapest, making this tablet a no doubt choice.
