Comparison review
IPad 3 has a score of 64.7, which is slightly better than Microsoft Surface 2's 63.4 overall score. The iPad 3 is an older and just a little thicker portable tablet than the Microsoft Surface 2, but Apple made it just a bit lighter anyway. IPad 3 works with iOS 7.x OS, while Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 OS.
The Microsoft Surface 2 features a little better performance than Apple iPad 3, because it has a larger number of faster cores and more RAM memory. The iPad 3 features a much better looking display than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a greater count of pixels per display inch.
Apple iPad 3 captures much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 2. They have a camera in the back with a 5 MP, the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rate. The Microsoft Surface 2 has a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than iPad 3, because it has more internal memory.
IPad 3 features a much better battery life than Microsoft Surface 2.
Even being the best tablet in our comparison, iPad 3 is also a bargain compared to the other ones, which makes it a great choice.
