Comparison review
IPad mini is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface 2, having a global score of 68.1 against 63.4. IPad mini counts with iOS 8.x OS, and Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 OS. IPad mini's design is way lighter and somewhat thinner than the Microsoft Surface 2. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a little more vivid display than iPad mini, because it has a greater pixel amount in each inch of screen, a way bigger screen and a way better 1080 x 1920px resolution.
The iPad mini and Microsoft Surface 2 both count with really similar storage capacity to store more games and applications, and although the iPad mini has no external memory slot, they both have equal internal memory capacity. Microsoft Surface 2 has just a bit better hardware performance than Apple iPad mini, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a higher number of cores and 1,5 GB more RAM memory.
IPad mini has a greater camera than Microsoft Surface 2. They have the same video definition, the same video frame rates and a 5 megapixels back-facing camera. IPad mini features a much better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 2.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the iPad mini is also by far the cheapest.
