Microsoft Surface 3 has a score of 66.3, which is a bit better than iPad 2's global score of 62.1. The Microsoft Surface 3 body has the same thickness than iPad 2, but it's just a little bit heavier. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a slightly better screen than Apple iPad 2, because it has a much higher display density, a way higher 1920 x 1280 resolution and a bit larger screen.
The Microsoft Surface 3 has just a bit better performance than iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface 3 features a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Apple iPad 2, because it has more internal memory capacity.
Microsoft Surface 3 captures clearer videos and photos than Apple iPad 2, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 video definition and a back-facing camera with a way higher 8 mega-pixels resolution. Apple iPad 2 has a much better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 3.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, Microsoft Surface 3 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, making this tablet an obvious call.
