Comparison review
The iPad mini 3 is better than Microsoft Surface 3, getting a 77.4 score against 66.3. Even when iPad mini 3 and the Microsoft Surface 3 were released with only a couple of months difference, iPad mini 3 is extremely lighter and thinner. The Apple iPad mini 3 counts with a little better performance than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has 3 GB less RAM memory and a lower number of cores and also slower, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an extra graphics processing unit.
IPad mini 3 features an incredibly better screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a lot better pixels amount per inch of screen. The iPad mini 3 takes much clearer videos and photos than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a camera with way less megapixels and a lower video resolution.
The iPad mini 3 and Microsoft Surface 3 have very similar memory capacity for applications and games, they have the same internal memory capacity. IPad mini 3 features a much better battery performance than Microsoft Surface 3.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the iPad mini 3 is also cheaper.
