The iPad mini 3 is much better than Microsoft Surface 3, having a 77.4 score against 65.9. IPad mini 3 has iOS 8.x OS, and Microsoft Surface 3 works with Windows 8.1 OS. The iPad mini 3 is a thinner and extremely lighter tablet than Microsoft Surface 3, even when they were released only 6 months apart.
Apple iPad mini 3 has a much better screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a little higher 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution and a much greater pixel number per screen inch. IPad mini 3 counts with a better performing CPU than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with 1 more cpu cores , a 64-bit processor and an extra graphics processor.
IPad mini 3 takes greater pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a lot less mega pixels camera and a lower 1920x1080 video resolution. The iPad mini 3's storage capacity for apps and games is very similar to the Microsoft Surface 3 one, and although the iPad mini 3 has no external memory card slot, they both have equal internal memory.
