The iPad Air has a score of 77.9, which is way better than the Microsoft Surface Pro's score of 63.2. The iPad Air counts with iOS 8.x OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro works with Windows 8 Pro OS. IPad Air's construction is newer, lighter and extremely thinner than Microsoft Surface Pro. Apple iPad Air features a bit better processor than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has less RAM memory and a worse GPU, and they both have 2 cpu cores, the Apple iPad Air also counts with a 64-bits processor.
The iPad Air counts with a more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel amount per inch of display and a better 1536 x 2048 resolution.
