Comparison review
Apple iPad 3 has an overall score of 64.7, which is slightly better than Microsoft Surface Pro 3's global score of 63.4. The Apple iPad 3 counts with iOS 7.x OS, while Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS. The Apple iPad 3 is a much older and a little bit thicker tablet than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, but Apple could make it lighter anyway.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a bit better performance than iPad 3, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Apple iPad 3 features a little bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a quite greater pixel density.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features much more memory for games and applications than Apple iPad 3, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity. The iPad 3 features a very superior battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. The Apple iPad 3 shoots much better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Both have the same video definition, the same video frame rates and the same resolution back facing camera.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, the iPad 3 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
