Comparison review
The iPad mini 3 has a global score of 75.2, which is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 3's 68.5 general score. IPad mini 3 counts with iOS 8.x operating system, while Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. Even though iPad mini 3 and Microsoft Surface Pro 3 were only released with a couple months difference, iPad mini 3 is somewhat thinner and lighter.
The Apple iPad mini 3 has a better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better 1536 x 2048 resolution and more pixels per inch in the display.
