Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a bit better than the iPad 3, getting a 72.2 score against 66. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and iPad 3 comes with iOS 7.x OS. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's construction is noticeably newer and just a bit thinner, but somewhat heavier than the iPad 3. IPad 3 counts with a bit more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better 1536 x 2048 resolution and a just a little higher display density.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than iPad 3, because it has 512 GB internal storage. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than iPad 3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The iPad 3 takes a lot better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. They have a same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rate and the same video quality. IPad 3 counts with a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a bit more expensive than the Apple iPad 3, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
