Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a little bit better than iPad mini, getting a 72.2 score against 68.1. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a incredibly heavier and thicker device than iPad mini. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while iPad mini works with iOS 8.x operating system.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit better CPU than iPad mini, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also counts with a greater amount of RAM. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a little bit better display than iPad mini, because it has a way better resolution of 1440 x 2160px, a better display density and a much bigger display.
The Apple iPad mini captures a lot better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
