Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a score of 81.5, which is slightly better than iPad Air's 77.9 score. Microsoft Surface Pro 6's design is extremely newer, but noticeably heavier and a little bit thicker than iPad Air. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 comes with Windows 10 OS, while iPad Air counts with iOS 8.x OS.
The iPad Air has a brighter display than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of screen, a much smaller display and a way lower 1536 x 2048 resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 counts with much more storage for games and applications than iPad Air, because it has 1000 GB internal memory capacity.
The Apple iPad Air counts with a little better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, because although it has less RAM and an inferior number of cores and they are also slower, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a graphics co-processor. Apple iPad Air counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 6.
IPad Air counts with a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a worse video definition and a back-facing camera with a much worse resolution.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Apple iPad Air, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Apple iPad Air. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 6, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Apple iPad Air, resigning some features and specifications.
