The iPad mini is a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, with a general score of 68.1 against 66.9. IPad mini works with iOS 8.x OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with Windows 10 OS. The iPad mini is a somewhat thinner and much lighter tablet than the Microsoft Surface Pro 7. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a superior hardware performance than iPad mini, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have 2 CPU cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also counts with a higher amount of RAM.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a little more vivid display than Apple iPad mini, because it has a way larger screen, way more pixels per screen inch and a much higher resolution of 2736 x 1824. The iPad mini takes much clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, although it has a lot less mega pixels back camera and a worse video resolution.
