Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 has an overall score of 64.8, which is much better than the Asus VivoTab Smart's overall score of 58.7. Microsoft Surface Pro 8's design is a little bit thinner but heavier than Asus VivoTab Smart. Both of these tablets come with Windows OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 has newer 11 version while Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 version, giving you some nice extra features and performance tweaks.
Microsoft Surface Pro 8 features a quite superior performance than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and more cores. The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 counts with a brighter screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because it has a way better screen density, a bigger screen and a much higher 1920 x 2880 resolution.
The Asus VivoTab Smart has a superior memory to store more apps and games than Microsoft Surface Pro 8. Asus VivoTab Smart shoots clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 8, although it has a lesser MP back-facing camera. Microsoft Surface Pro 8 features a much longer battery duration than Asus VivoTab Smart.
