Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s design is newer, a little bit lighter and thinner than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a better performance than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a slower graphics processing unit working at 450 MHz, it also counts with more RAM memory and 2 more CPU cores. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a way better looking display than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a much greater screen pixel density and a much higher 1600 x 2560 resolution.
The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 features a bit bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has a much better camera than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), although it has a way worse (HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a lot worse 5 mega pixels resolution.

So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), but if you don't you can save some money and get the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, resigning a couple features and specs.
