Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is slightly better than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, with a overall score of 68.3 against 65.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a notably lighter tablet than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, but both are 0.35inches thick. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has Android 3.2 version, providing some nice extra features and performance optimizations.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has much more storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 features a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 40 percent bigger battery size.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a lot bigger aperture to take better low-light captures and videos and a way better 1920x1080 video definition.

So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, giving up some features and specifications.
