The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is slightly better than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, with a 62.7 score against 62.6. Both tablets in this comparison review come with the same Android 4.0 OS (Operating System). Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is newer than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, it is extremely heavier and just a bit thicker.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a bit better performance than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, although it has a slower GPU working at 400 megahertz, they both have a Dual-Core CPU and the same RAM amount. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 features more memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 features a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a much more mega pixels back camera.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it is more expensive than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, letting go some specs and features.
