The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has an overall score of 62.6, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab's 58.6 general score. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has the newer 4.0 version and Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2's construction is newer and way thinner than Galaxy Tab's, but it is also a little bit heavier.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has a greater performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has more RAM, an extra GPU and a higher number of faster cores. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 features a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a bit higher number of pixels per inch of display, a bigger screen and a higher resolution of 800 x 1280.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab has as much storage capacity to install applications and games as Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab and Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 count with quite similar battery performance, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab also has a 4000mAh battery capacity.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab, because it has a much higher video resolution and a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.

Although Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab, letting go some specs and features.
