Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has an overall score of 62.6, which is a little bit better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 global score. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has 4.0 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Even being the best in this comparison review, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 design is noticeably older, heavier and somewhat thicker than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD.

The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a better storage to store more apps and games than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because although it has only 16 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with longer battery performance than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity against 3960mAh.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 costs more than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
