Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a bit better than Motorola Xoom 2, with a general score of 61.4 against 57.4. These devices include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the newer 4.1 version and Motorola Xoom 2 has Android 3.2 version, so it gives a couple additional features. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) body is a bit thicker but just a little lighter than Motorola Xoom 2, and both of them were only released 4 months apart.

Motorola Xoom 2 features a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). They have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280, the same pixel density and a same size screen. The Motorola Xoom 2 features a bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity.

Motorola Xoom 2 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both of them have 2 processing cores and 1 GB of RAM. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a superior battery performance than Motorola Xoom 2. Motorola Xoom 2 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video resolution, the Motorola Xoom 2 also has a way better 5 megapixels resolution back facing camera.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is more expensive than Motorola Xoom 2, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
