Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a general score of 60.8, which is slightly better than Motorola Xoom 2's 57.4 overall score. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus body is somewhat thicker but a lot lighter than Motorola Xoom 2, and both were released only 1 months apart. Both tablets we compare here come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has the newer 4.1.2 version while Motorola Xoom 2 has Android 3.2, giving a couple additional features and optimized performance.

Motorola Xoom 2 counts with a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because although it has a little lower pixel density, it also counts with a way larger display and a better 800 x 1280px resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a processing unit that's just as good as Motorola Xoom 2's CPU, both of them have 2 cores and a 1 GB RAM memory.

Motorola Xoom 2 features a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Motorola Xoom 2 also has a camera with way more mega pixels. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Xoom 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 64 GB.

Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a much longer battery lifetime than Motorola Xoom 2.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Motorola Xoom 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Xoom 2. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, else you can save some money and buy the Motorola Xoom 2, giving up a couple specifications.
