Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a general score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than Motorola Xoom 2's 57.4 global score. These tablets use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 8.9 has the previous 3.0 version while Motorola Xoom 2 has Android 3.2 version. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a notably lighter and just a little bit thinner tablet than Motorola Xoom 2, even when both of them were released with only 8 months difference.

Motorola Xoom 2 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both of them have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features just a bit better display than Motorola Xoom 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a just a little better screen pixels density.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Motorola Xoom 2, because it has more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a way better battery performance than Motorola Xoom 2. Motorola Xoom 2 takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Xoom 2 also has a lot better 5 MP resolution camera in the back.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy Tab 8.9 is also by far the cheapest one.
