Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is better than Motorola Xoom 2, getting a 68.3 score against 57.4. Both tablets in this review use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while Motorola Xoom 2 has Android 3.2, counting with some extra features and optimized performance. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a way lighter tablet than the Motorola Xoom 2, but both of them are equally thin.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a bit better processing unit than Motorola Xoom 2, because it has a greater number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Motorola Xoom 2 features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a little bit lower screen pixel density, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Motorola Xoom 2 also counts with a bigger display.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a much better camera than Motorola Xoom 2, and although they both have a 5 megapixels back camera, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
