Comparison review

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a global score of 60.4, which is a little bit better than Asus VivoTab's 57.5 global score. Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition's construction is much lighter but a bit thicker than Asus VivoTab, and both were only released 7 months apart. Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition comes with Android 3.2 OS, and Asus VivoTab comes with Windows 8 OS.

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a better looking display than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a much smaller screen and a little lower 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display. The Asus VivoTab features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity.

Asus VivoTab has a bit superior processing unit than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab also has a better graphics co-processor working at 533 megahertz and 1 GB more RAM memory. The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition shoots clearer videos and photos than Asus VivoTab, although it has a lot lower 1280x720 (HD) video definition and a lot less mega-pixels back camera.

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features a way better battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab.
