Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a little bit better than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, having a 60.8 score against 60.4. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition were released only a couple of months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus construction is somewhat thicker but somewhat lighter. Both devices we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has 4.1.2 version and Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has Android 3.2 version.

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor and a 1 GB RAM memory, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also has a graphics processor. The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a higher 800 x 1280 resolution, a little bit better pixels number per display inch and a larger display.

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also has a lot better resolution back camera. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has an external SD slot that allows up to 64 GB.

Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features just a bit longer battery duration than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because it has a 3% larger battery capacity.
