The Google Nexus 7 is just a bit better than Motorola XOOM CDMA, with a global score of 59.3 against 57.3. The Google Nexus 7 body is newer, much lighter and somewhat thinner than the Motorola XOOM CDMA. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but Google Nexus 7 has a more recent 5.1 version while Motorola XOOM CDMA has Android 4.0.
The Google Nexus 7 has a quite better hardware performance than Motorola XOOM CDMA, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Google Nexus 7 also has more cores and an additional GPU. The Google Nexus 7 has a brighter display than Motorola XOOM CDMA, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with a greater pixels density.
Motorola XOOM CDMA shoots way better pictures and videos than Google Nexus 7. Motorola XOOM CDMA counts with much more memory for apps and games than Google Nexus 7, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Motorola XOOM CDMA also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 32 GB.
Google Nexus 7 has a much better battery performance than Motorola XOOM CDMA.
