Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has an overall score of 66.2, which is better than the Motorola XOOM CDMA's 57.3 overall score. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while Motorola XOOM CDMA has Android 4.0 version, providing the user some nice extra features and some performance improvements. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a extremely newer tablet, and it's also extremely lighter and incredibly thinner than the Motorola XOOM CDMA.

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a much better looking display than Motorola XOOM CDMA, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a much longer battery duration than Motorola XOOM CDMA. The Motorola XOOM CDMA takes a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have the same (HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Motorola XOOM CDMA also has a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
