The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a general score of 64.8, which is better than the Motorola XOOM CDMA's global score of 57.3. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the newer 4.0.4 version while Motorola XOOM CDMA has Android 4.0, so it provides a couple nice extra features. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a much lighter and extremely thinner tablet device than the Motorola XOOM CDMA, even though both of them were only released 8 months apart.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a much better looking screen than Motorola XOOM CDMA, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a greater display pixel density. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a bit faster processing unit than Motorola XOOM CDMA, and although they both have 2 cores and 1 GB of RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has an extra GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Motorola XOOM CDMA, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has 32 GB more internal storage. Motorola XOOM CDMA counts with a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video resolution, the Motorola XOOM CDMA also has a camera in the back with a lot higher 5 mega-pixels resolution.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a very superior battery life than Motorola XOOM CDMA.
