Comparison review
The Apple iPad 2 is much better than the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, getting a general score of 62.1 against 55.1. Apple iPad 2 works with iOS 7.x operating system, while Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi comes with Android 4.1.2 operating system. Even when Apple iPad 2 and Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi were only released 1 months apart, Apple iPad 2 is somewhat lighter and way thinner.
Apple iPad 2 has just a little better hardware performance than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Apple iPad 2 also counts with an extra GPU. Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi features a bit sharper screen than iPad 2, because it has a little bit larger screen, a quite better 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a just a bit higher number of pixels in each inch of display.
Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi captures much clearer photographs and videos than iPad 2, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi also has a camera in the back with much more MP. The Apple iPad 2 features a slightly bigger memory for apps and games than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
IPad 2 features a superior battery life than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi.
Apple iPad 2 costs more than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
