Comparison review
The Apple iPad Air is better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5, with a 77.9 score against 69.2. Apple iPad Air comes with iOS 8.x OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 5 works with Windows 8 OS. The Apple iPad Air body is newer, extremely lighter and a lot thinner than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5. IPad Air features a more powerful processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 2 CPU cores, the iPad Air also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bit CPU.
The Apple iPad Air has a more vivid display than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 1536 x 2048px resolution and a way higher screen pixel density. The iPad Air's storage capacity for applications and games is very similar to the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 one, and although the iPad Air has no slot for an SD memory card, they both have the same internal storage.
Apple iPad Air has a lot better camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, although it has a camera with a lot worse 5 megapixels resolution. IPad Air has a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has a 116 percent larger battery size.
The iPad Air is more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
