Both tablets in this review come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has 4.4.2 version while Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a notably thinner but a lot heavier portable tablet than Asus Fonepad 7.
