Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a global score of 75.8, which is a little bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite's score of 73.3. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has an older 4.4.2 version and Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has Android 8.0 Oreo. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is an extremely older, heavier and just a little bit thicker device than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite.

The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and 4 more CPU cores. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a much more vibrant screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and a better screen density.

Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because it has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB and 32 GB more internal memory capacity. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014). Both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the same video frame rates and a same resolution back camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has just a bit better battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity.
