The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a lot better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, getting a overall score of 75.8 against 61.7. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1, offering a couple additional features and optimized performance. Although the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is heavier than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, it's much thinner and newer.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with an incredibly better display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has much more pixels per display inch, a way bigger display and a way higher 1600 x 2560 resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a greater performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a much better 450 MHz graphics co-processor, a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of cores.

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, giving up some features and specifications.
